We are delighted to welcome you to the Swiss Battery Days 2026 in the wonderful city of Zurich.

Empa, PSI and the Swiss Battery Association iBAT are co-organising the 8th Swiss Battery Days, which will be held at ETH Zurich from August 24 to 26. The event is designed to offer young researchers working in battery materials research and cell manufacturing a platform to showcase their findings and engage with leading battery scientists from across Europe and other regions. It also provides a valuable opportunity to build stronger ties within the Swiss battery community and broaden existing networks. The event covers a wide range of topics, from the synthesis and characterisation of battery materials to their incorporation into electrodes and cells, as well as aspects of cell manufacturing.
